Surrounded by imposing tetechos, a type of cactus, we shared this celebration with 38 of the 55 PAs supported by this financial mechanism, personnel from the National Commission of Protected Areas (CONANP, acronym in Spanish), four civil society organizations, and more than ten groups of local producers, who gathered at the Helia Bravo Hollis Botanical Garden in Zapotitlán Salinas, Puebla.

For FMCN, it was a joy to bring together more than 150 people who, during these 25 years, have contributed their effort, enthusiasm, and dedication to make FANP what it is today, one of the most recognized environmental funds in Latin America and the world.

We are especially grateful for the presence of the National Commissioner, Adán Peña Fuentes, as well as his team and regional directors, for being part of this celebration and for welcoming the FANP with such enthusiasm. We are confident that the next steps will be significant and always aimed at conserving our natural heritage protected through the PAs.

We also thank those who attended this great and meaningful celebration, and as Renée González, General Director of FMCN, said, "we are trees connected by mycorrhizae that feed, support, and benefit from each other." Let us continue to maintain and consolidate this network.
